State-of-the-art manufacturing facility based near Newark, conveniently located adjacent to the A1.
About The Role
JRL Modular is looking for a skilled Plumber / Pipe Fitter to join our production team at the Newark factory. You will install and fit plumbing systems inside our modular apartments, bathrooms and utility units before they leave the factory.
This is a factory-based role assembling pipework and fittings to our specifications. You will be working to drawings, carrying out all aspects of plumbing installation from measuring and cutting through to testing and sign-off.
CIS arrangement: 4 weeks
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am to 3:00pm

DUTIES
- Install and assemble water pipework and waste pipework inside modular units
- Measure, cut, join and secure pipework to drawings and specifications
- Fit and connect basins, toilets, showers, taps and utility units
- Pressure test and check completed work for leaks and security
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows company procedures
- Work alongside assembly teams to meet production schedules
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and support other team members where required
- Practical experience in plumbing and pipe installation
- Confident measuring, cutting, joining and securing copper and plastic pipework
- Ability to work from technical drawings and check measurements accurately
- Reliable attendance and excellent timekeeping
- Plumbing qualification or completed apprenticeship preferred
- Good team player with a professional approach
