The Student Activity Center Café, known as The Den, seeks a diligent and experienced individual to fill the role of Den Supervisor. This pivotal position will oversee the comprehensive operation of The Den, encompassing the Kitchen, Dining Area, Dish Area, and Storage Areas. The Den Supervisor will be tasked with ensuring the proper storage and organization of stock and supplies, while also guaranteeing that food is prepared to the highest standards set forth by the Chef and Food and Beverage Director. Moreover, the incumbent will engage with and support the development of Cooks, Cashiers, and Stewards, fostering an environment conducive to skill enhancement and knowledge acquisition. It will be incumbent upon the Café Supervisor to maintain positive working relationships among Den employees and promptly address any conflicts that may arise, escalating them to higher management when necessary. Additionally, the Café Supervisor will oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring that the Kitchen is immaculately clean and ready for service at designated times. A comprehensive understanding of State, County, and City Health Codes and the ability to ensure compliance among staff will be crucial in this role.

Requirements
Must be 16 years or older (18 in CA). Successful Stewards consistently demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service, dependability, attention to detail, initiative, and teamwork.
