Position Summary
Field Marshals provide dependable, customer-focused on-site support during baseball and softball seasons, off-season activities, coach-look days, and special events. This position supports field readiness, facility appearance, routine maintenance, and event operations while helping create a positive experience for players, coaches, families, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Guest Experience
o Provide professional, helpful service to players, coaches, families, and guests.
o Communicate field or facility concerns to the Sports Manager.
o Represent the facility professionally.
· Field & Facility Operations
o Prepare fields for games, practices, and events.
o Refresh fields mid-day, on game day weekends.
o Verify field conditions and report maintenance concerns.
o Address routine field-maintenance needs and control weeds inside fenced areas.
o Remove trash, replace trash liners, pick up litter, stock restrooms, and help maintain clean, organized facilities.
· Event Operations
o Hang signs, banners, and other event materials as needed.
o Assist with facility readiness for seasonal activities, coach-look days, and special events.
o Assist the Sports Manager and General Manager with program operations and special projects as assigned.
· Safety & Professionalism
o Help maintain safe, playable field and facility conditions.
o Operate facility equipment, including a three-wheeled vehicle, as assigned.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
· Must be 18 years old or older.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80 pounds.
· Basic understanding of baseball and softball.
· Field maintenance experience preferred but not required.
· Ability to operate a three-wheeled vehicle.
Schedule & Classification
· Seasonal Part-Time | Hourly | In-Person
· Approximately 20–30 hours per week during the season.
· Approximately 15–20 hours per week during the off-season.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
This position requires extended periods of standing and walking in an active outdoor sports environment. Field Marshals regularly assist with field preparation, facility upkeep, event support, equipment operation, and physical maintenance tasks while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
