-Candidate must effectively assess available customer freight needs and execute delegating drivers to loads based on milage, driver hours, and required equipment
-Daily review of freight needs for drivers, initiate communications with customers to ensure shipments for all drivers and delegate load search if required
-Assist in maintaining mutually beneficial customer relations with the goal of freight retention and expanding freight volume
-Assist in crafting policies and procedures to optimize work flow and volume
-Assist drivers with resolving freight issues and provide direction to expedite a resolution
- Monitor drivers' locations to ensure timely deliveries and shipments based on customer needs and hours as well as ability to modify assignments based on customer needs and drivers HOS under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
-Master the use of computerized dispatch system and customer portals
-Set goals and optimize performance to achieve highest level of ranking within customer databases
-Maintain open dialogue with owners and other members of the management team to organize office activity that will enhance the company's performance
- Previous experience in fleet management not necessary. Will train the right analytical self starter
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52, $63,620.50 per year
