Duties
- Receive inbound shipments by accurately unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery documentation using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy.
- Store products systematically in designated warehouse locations, utilizing stock management techniques to optimize space and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders with precision, employing order pickers, packaging tools, and RF scanners to meet customer specifications.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks efficiently while ensuring proper securing of pallets and cargo for safe transportation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using warehouse management systems like AS400 or MRP software to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety standards and operational procedures for load & unload activities, stocking, and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or MRP software is highly desirable.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Experience with e-commerce order picking & packing processes is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and organization.
