Superintendent - Plumbing/ Mechanical

JRC Mechanical is hiring immediately for a Superintendent position for Hampton Roads areas and offering up to a $2,500 signing bonus upon hire. To be successful as a superintendent you should have excellent communication skills and natural leadership abilities as well as the items below.

• OSHA 30
• CPR
• LOTO
• Maintain and distribute daily sign in and sign out sheets
• Complete Daily Reports using ProCore
• Daily communication with the General Superintendent
• Review the safety requirements of the project with the JRC Safety team and implement accordingly
• Allocate assigned manpower to facilitate plumbing and mechanical work plan
• Layout and installation of underground and above ground plumbing and mechanical systems
• Work with the General Super to create the 3 week lookahead
• Review job requirements and plumbing and mechanical drawings to create a working plan
• Review plumbing and mechanical submittals for material requirements and installation
• Order and track plumbing and mechanical material
• Oversee job progress and report to General Superintendent re manpower needs
• Arrange for proper tools, equipment, rentals to be available to the installation team
• Read the specifications applicable to plumbing and mechanical work
• QC installed work against the BIM, contract drawings, and submittals
• Subcontractor coordination
• Attend and participate in all required jobsite meetings
• Generate RFIS using PROCORE
• Meet with the Project Managers and General Supers as necessary
• Schedule Inspections
• Maintain As-built Drawings on paper
• Reply to emails on a daily basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
