Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on supervision with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet project milestones and client expectations
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed and work is performed according to design schematics and contract specifications
- Collaborate with project stakeholders—contractors, architects, engineers, and clients—to facilitate clear communication and resolve issues promptly
- Manage project schedules using gantt charts, excel, or other construction management software to optimize resource allocation and timeline adherence
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of project requirements
- Follow company processes for documentation, estimating, tracking project progress, and reporting
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project schedules
- Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and other documentation necessary for successful project management
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager with a minimum of 4 years managing mid-large-scale construction projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, safety regulations, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands
- Hands-on experience with civil projects preferred; familiarity with heavy civil construction practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills for clear coordination across teams and stakeholders
