NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: VARSITY GOLF COACH
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system as a role model for the student-athletes.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the sport to be coached.
- Display good judgment in dealing with parents, team, administration, public, and the media.
- Develop a program that is immersed in the vision of the athletic department in terms of developing the student-athlete as a whole and the department as a whole.
- Communicate and work effectively with fellow coaches, fellow staff members, district administration, and the community.
- Fulfill CPS and M\SSHAA requirements upon hire.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate.
- Prior experience as a coach.
- Experience with an educational institution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The coach shall be directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to his/her assigned areas of responsibility. The coach is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the assigned sport.
SALARY: As per contract.
