Quality Auditor

Description

The Quality Auditor position is responsible for performing audits of basic records and reports and inspections of routine processes to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and corporate policies and procedures.
 

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Perform and document quality checks; including for new lots, part changeovers, destructs, rewelds, and straight walls.
• Receiving inspection as required.
• Macros (cut and etch) as required.
• Follow Non-conformance Procedure and Tool Break Procedure when needed.
• Monitor the condition of all measuring tools and check fixtures, report any damage or concers to the Calibration Technician.
• Perform any extra or added tasks to the best of your ability.
• Communicate in all ways required, whether by e-mail, verbally, either in person or on the radio provided.  This should be done in a timely manner
• Asisit production, management, and maintenance when required.
• Can work without supervision.
• Work closely with other auditors.  This includes training assitance and communicating between shifts.
• Understand company Quality Policy.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Understand and practice 5S.

Qualifications

Qualifications: (knowledge, skills and abilities):  

• High School Diploma
• Able to travel, sometimes with short notice, including international 

Nonessential Skills and Experience (preferred):

• Have the ability to keep up in a fast paced environment.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Be able to do some lifting and bending.
• Must be able to work some overtime when required and be flexible if needed with possible shift change.
• Good communication skills.
• Working well in a close team environment.
• The ability to either know or learn to read and understand blueprints.
• The ability to either know or learn how to use all measuring tools and check fixtures.
• Have the ability to aid in problem solving.
• Being conscience of means of improvement, wheather in quality or any other way.

Salary : $16 - $23
