What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift CNC Operator position at Jr Manufacturing Inc?
Job Summary: Tasks given by Team Leader daily, ensure that your responsibilities are completed in a Safe Manner, while ensuring Quality of product and Efficiencies are exceeded.
Job Duties:
- Safe work environment is always priority, make sure everything you are doing is safe and if you believe something is not safe, please inform your supervisor right away.
- Balance safety, quality, morale, and productivity to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Ensure that quality finished goods are being built and that they meet the customer’s quality specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operators must follow all established JRM policies and procedures.
- Assist in the problem solving and continuous improvement processes.
- Be constructive in feedback and instructions.
- Communicate and work effectively with peers and management.
- Making sure all process sheets are filled out daily: Start-up checklist, In-Process Inspection Sheets, Feeder Logs
- Assigned workstations are cleaned before you shift is over
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High degree of professionalism
- Organizational Skills (5s)
- Self-Motivation
- Understanding of CNC Wire Check Fixtures
- Be able to obtain or already hold forklift license from JRM.
- Infor experience preferred but not required
- Microsoft office experience required
Physical demands and work environment:
- Lifting weight up to 35lbs unassisted
