How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform manual machining operations with a high level of precision and consistency
- Complete conversational programming on CNC equipment; experience with Acu‑Rite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK controllers preferred
- Interpret and manipulate 2D CAD files, including importing DXF files for machining
- Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to confirm fixture setups, orientations, and critical dimensions
- Inspect and verify critical dimensions using precision measurement tools
- Communicate potential quality concerns clearly and promptly to management
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures
- Support machining activities as needed to meet production and project deadlines
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, with exposure to CNC machining
- Strong understanding of machining principles, manual machine operation, and precision measuring tools
- Experience with conversational CNC programming; familiarity with Acu‑Rite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACK preferred
- Ability to interpret 2D CAD drawings, manipulate files, and import DXFs
- Knowledge of CMM techniques and GD&T principles (preferred)
- Ability to inspect and confirm critical dimensions independently
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
