Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Williamsport, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various industrial applications, including programming, layout design, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, PLC/HMI programming, and electrical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control layouts using AutoCAD.
- Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manuals for each project.
- Program and configure controllers to meet project specifications.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI code for automated systems.
- Collaborate with customers to discuss design concepts, progress updates, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical design software.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for customer and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Familiarity with UL508A standards and panel design.
- Prior experience in an industrial or automation setting.
Salary:
- Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
