We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Web Application Developer with 12 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise web applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions, ensure best practices in development, and actively contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web-based applications that support critical business processes.
• Apply strong SQL expertise to design efficient queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity.
• Review, analyze, and validate coded programs to ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Prepare test data and perform thorough unit testing to ensure functionality, performance, and quality.
• Analyze automation and enhancement requests, providing technical recommendations and solution approaches.
• Develop work plans, project schedules, and accurate time and cost estimates for assigned initiatives.
• Create and maintain all required SDM technical documentation, including Technical Specifications, Design Documents, and related artifacts.
• Collaborate with users and business stakeholders to understand requirements for enhancements, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Maintain continuous awareness of user activities and business plans that may impact application development.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implement them using full lifecycle development methodologies.
• Prepare and present routine project status reports, clearly communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in staff meetings, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions as an active team member.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers, promoting coding standards and best practices across the team.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of professional experience in web application development and support.
• Strong proficiency in web technologies and structured programming concepts.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex queries, performance tuning, and data validation.
• Proven experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of coding standards, testing methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Experience creating technical documentation such as design documents, technical specs, and test plans.
• Ability to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and manage development tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
