You will oversee end-to-end solution architecture, lead development teams, and ensure best practices in performance, security, customer experience, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development
- Lead the planning, design, and development of e-commerce applications and platforms.
- Oversee technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Provide guidance to development teams on coding standards, application frameworks, and best practices.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges.
- Manage integrations with payment gateways, inventory management systems, ERP/CRM platforms, and third-party APIs.
- Drive enhancements to search, product catalog, checkout, and customer experience workflows.
- Ensure compliance with secure coding practices, privacy regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation strategies.
- Support project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend platform improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in e-commerce technologies, digital commerce frameworks, and architecture patterns.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, microservices, and automation.
- Strong expertise in e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify Plus, SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in web technologies: Java, .NET, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API design and integrations, including REST, GraphQL, and third-party commerce services.
- Strong database knowledge, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL solutions.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- 12 years of experience in e-commerce development, engineering, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional development teams and manage technical project delivery.
- Experience mentoring developers and enforcing development best practices.
