Job Description:
Job Summary: The Project Manager Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of HR projects that enhance operational efficiency, process improvements, and strategic workforce initiatives. This role ensures alignment with company strategy, goals, and commitments while maintaining consistency across HR functions.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
Leads and manages multiple HR projects, ensuring timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Utilizes process improvement methodologies to analyze and improve HR processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Partners with HR Leadership to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
Manages project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved.
Creates a work breakdown structure to estimate the effort required for each task within the project.
Creates a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed; and determines how results will be measured.
Tracks and reports project milestones and provides timely status reports to HR leadership.
Communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders and acts as a mediator. Leads, coaches and motivates project team members on a proactive basis to foster the cohesive functioning of the interdisciplinary team.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations. Applies change management principles to ensure successful adoption of new HR processes and systems.
Maintains timely, effective communications with the department leadership regarding all events or proposed changes that might impact regulatory issues, census variance, policies, or procedures.
Collaborates with HR functional areas on projects. Interacts with Information Technology, Finance, Payroll, and other departments within the Network for project implementation.
Completes a post-project evaluation to determine how well results are achieved.
Develops tools and best practices for project management and execution.
Documents on the project daily and regularly communicates in order to effectively understand all aspects of problem-solving and managing team players.
Manages projects independently but may require assistance from leadership on particularly complicated or large jobs.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a health-related field from an accredited College or University.
- 5 plus years of work experience in project management or related work experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
