While working safely, the warp technician's primary responsibility is to remove and replace warps by following the FIFO board and pull scheduling system. They will ready looms for warp replacement, cleaning loom, tying, hanging, pulling over warps, and correcting any broken ends or warp related issues. They will lease out warps for tie backs and place new warps in and properly set up warps for tying machines, and complete all paperwork, and proper identification of styles/width/pattern needed. Will unload warp beams from elevator, place beams in beam storage, and assist in loading warps for entering. Assisting with weaving will be required.
Requirements:- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 0-3 years' experience
- Good working knowledge of computers
- Weaver Certification
