Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement an age-appropriate semester-long curriculum that progressively builds on elements and principles of sewing and design
- Support and guide students during class activities, offering assistance and answering questions to foster their understanding and progress.
- Set up and prepare materials for each class, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for students
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, enforcing safety rules and procedures related to the use of sewing machines
Requirements
- Prior relevant teaching experience
- Expertise in sewing with machines and fashion design
- Availability one or two afternoons on weekdays, between 3 and 6 pm
