Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Insurance Producer to generate new commercial business and build long-term client relationships. This is a commission focused role offering uncapped earning potential for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a performance-based environment.
Prospecting is primarily conducted through cold calling and in-person visits to local businesses. The ideal candidate is confident with proactive outreach, disciplined in daily activity, and energized by face-to-face networking.
Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Prospect for new commercial insurance opportunities through consistent cold calling and in-person business visits
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Develop referral partnerships with local professionals (CPAs, lenders, attorneys, etc.)
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual production goals
Client Consultation & Sales
- Conduct risk assessments to understand client exposures and insurance needs
- Present customized coverage solutions and proposals
- Work with account management staff and carriers to negotiate terms
- Close new business and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support retention
- Identify cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities
- Conduct periodic coverage reviews to ensure continued protection
Team Collaboration
- Partner with Commercial Account Managers to facilitate quoting, binding, and policy issuance
- Provide complete and accurate submission information
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and professional development

Qualifications
Sales experience is preffered but not required. A Property & Casualty (P&C) license is not required at the time of application; however, the selected candidate must obtain their P&C license prior to starting the position.
