As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Global Technology Asset Management (GTAM) team, you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.

The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Job Responsibilities
- Leads multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectives
- Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus and related to Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM)
- Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
- Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectives
- Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
- Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams
- Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Partner with architects and senior engineers to define system designs and technical strategies
- Review and guide engineering design code and implementations
- Ensure the team follows best practices in architecture, testing, security, resilience, and performance
- Contribute to long-term technical roadmap and platform strategy.
- 15 Years experience in Financial or other regulated industries
- Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists
- Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale
- Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- Extensive practical cloud native experience
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Experience with highly regulated environments.
- Background working with global and distributed teams
- Experience working at code level

Salary : $232,750 - $325,000
