Corporate and Firmwide Employee Communications is a vital function within JPMorgan Chase, focused on reinforcing our culture and keeping employees engaged with the firm’s priorities and diverse businesses. The team is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, key stakeholders, and other communications managers across the company, utilizing a variety of engagement channels and tools.
As an Internal Communications Writer/Editor within the Corporate Communications team, you will engage and educate our most valuable resource: our employees. You will write and edit across a variety of digital channels, including the intranet and employee app. You will have excellent editorial judgment, be a fast and accurate writer (exceptional proofreading skills are a must, plus familiarity with AP style), and have a proven ability to seek out and develop compelling stories from scratch while editing content from contributing writers. You will be skilled in the full cycle of content generation, from idea through production, publishing, and success analysis using metrics.

Job responsibilities
- Pitch, write, edit, and publish content for the intranet and employee app
- Uncover newsworthy stories, cover on-site events, and interview senior leaders
- Build relationships across businesses and collaborate with internal creative teams (video, design)
- Demonstrate digital content management best practices, have an eye for design, and strong video sensibility
- Constantly learn and improve and expand skill set
- Be a team player who enjoys working on a creative and ambitious team, and is passionate about storytelling and the employee communications experience
- Partner with internal colleagues to refine copy stylistically and ensure consistency of tone and voice
- Undergraduate degree
- 7 years of experience in journalism, editorial, or content strategy
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong creative problem-solving and project management skills
- Experience producing and managing content for mobile news
- Ability to work on multiple high-priority pieces simultaneously and comfortable working under tight deadlines
- Superior writing and grammar skills
- Experience using AI to edit and/or streamline workflows
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Digital publishing and content management tools, particularly Adobe Experience Manager as well as Photoshop and InDesign
- HTML and Java
