Join our Credit Tech Financing team – Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) Primary to help shape the future of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) Primary. As a VP Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling new platform services that power customer-facing experiences and support strategic initiatives across the firm. This role serves as the voice of the customer and develops profitable products that deliver measurable value. Leveraging deep zero-to-one expertise, the Product Manager drives successful launches, gathers and prioritizes feedback, and ensures exceptional client experiences.

As a Product Manager in Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) Primary team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. As an integral member of a team building and scaling a new platform that automates and systematizes key business processes, reduces manual effort, and enables the desk to focus on high-impact work—expanding capacity to process deals.

With a strong emphasis on scalability, resilience, and stability, the role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed expectations.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Establish, track, and refine OKRs, KPIs, and other key business metrics; set targets and monitor progress against strategic goals
  • Oversee product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder priorities, and modernization goals
  • Partner with the project manager to plan the roadmap on an ongoing, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Facilitate effective sprint planning and resource utilization, partnering with Project manager and engineering leads to ensure timely delivery of high-value features
  • Build and manage key relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Servicing, Legal, and Compliance
  • Support production issue resolution and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement and client satisfaction
 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • 5 years of experience in strategy, business operations, portfolio management, or management consulting - within financial services, payments, or technology
  • Knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Identify high-ROI AI use cases and create roadmaps.
  • Translate user needs into AI product requirements with value
  • Structured and strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated track record of driving change and transformation in a complex organization
  • Ability to work independently, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across teams and time zones. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and JIRA
 
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
