As a Transactions Specialist II in the Verify/Dispatch Department, you will have primary responsibility for coordinating, reviewing, and extracting data files from various lines of businesses within JPMorgan for mail distribution. Global Document Services (GDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase. Global Document Services supports internal lines of business such as Retail, Card Services, Retirement Plan Services, Private Bank and Treasury Services. Global Document Services produces a wide variety of products including postcards, letters, statements, checks, invoices, and marketing material originated from its internal composition team as well as documents created by Output Systems.
Job responsibilities
- Provide mail presentment services (USPS First Class, Standard Class, Certified, Express, and International Express).
- Provide carrier/shipping presentment services (FedEx and UPS letters/packages/freight).
- Coordinate internal distribution and shipments (Track One, Inner Office, and interoffice processing/mailing).
- Reconcile daily file intake and validate SLA compliance.
- Assign production work to the insertion/production floor and stage work to meet courier deadlines.
- Complete job control activities, including filling job tickets and reviewing printed job streams.
- Balance and record completed statement jobs.
- Prepare marketing inserts and enclosure items for automated statement operations.
- Manage change requests and end-to-end testing, documenting process and technology updates.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Able to lift 40-70lbs and deliver 200lb supplies utilizing industrial pull/push carts
- Must be able to stand/walk for an 8 to 10 hours shift
- Must be able to meet and maintain Quality and Productivity standards, be control-oriented and pay attention to detail, strong team player with the ability to work in a global matrixed organization
- Must be able to adapt to a change in the work environment, included, but not limited to: daily directives from leadership, changes to standard operation procedures, and new technology
- High school diploma or five years of production environment work history
- Problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to think independently
- Self-motivated, proactive, proven ability to learn, ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to act on own initiative, be accurate, reliable and demonstrate confidence in processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with various areas of the firm and levels of management
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
