As a Data Key Entry Specialist in Receivables Operations, you will be responsible for accurately keying and verifying transaction data daily, playing a vital role in ensuring client requirements are met with speed and precision. Your work supports the integrity of payment processing operations and directly impacts the client experience. This role offers a structured, team-oriented environment with clear processes and opportunities for career growth.
Job responsibilities
- Review transactions and verify/enter required data fields based on document images and client requirements.
- Correct OCR-extracted information, especially low-confidence fields, by validating against remittance documents and updating fields as needed.
- Key invoice and payment details from standard source documents (e.g., check stub/disbursement voucher, invoice/coupon, statement, and face of check) using the defined hierarchy.
- Key coupon scanlines and payment amounts when required, following scanline validation prompts and standards.
- Follow standard rules for common exceptions such as missing or illegible information, crossed-out items, and "all zeros" entries, keeping required fields accurate and complete.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer and transaction information at all times.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ability to confirm and/or correct data presented for capture to align with information on the source document.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain an efficient rate of productivity alongside a high rate of accuracy.
- Proficient alphanumeric data entry skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and flexibility to support peak processing volumes.
- Ability to follow outlined processes and procedures accurately and consistently.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a diverse group of colleagues.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in remittance processing or banking operations is preferred.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. Work schedule might be subject to change.
