As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - AWS/Agentic AI at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer and Community Banking-Home Loan Originations team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify critical problems in the Home Loan Origination process
- Design and develop proof of concepts and sample implementations to validate potential solutions
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Lead the development of innovative solutions using the AWS stack, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in Agentic AI, to integrate advanced technologies into our solutions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into existing system
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer
- Proficiency in the AWS stack, including services such as ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with Agentic AI technologies and their application in solving business challenges
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Proven experience preferably in the financial services or home loan industry
- Experience with micro services architecture and cloud-native application development
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
