Job responsibilities
- Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and define future strategies for architecture and application development
- Collaborates with stakeholders to onboard new marketing tools, guiding them through firmwide onboarding processes to enhance user engagement
- Translates business and functional requirements into technical designs aligned with enterprise-level architecture standards
- Develops and maintains Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components to support high-availability, high-traffic sites
- Diagnoses, debugs, and resolves technical issues related to CMS implementation and complex system integrations
- Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams on application deployment, performance optimization, monitoring, reliability, and scalability
- Design and develop reusable templates, components, and services in partnership with technology, product, and business teams
- Builds and optimizes web user interfaces using AEM and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), ensuring cross-browser/platform compatibility and speed
- Works closely with design, business analysis, project management, and content teams to ensure technical feasibility, design quality, and timely delivery of web assets
- Supports global teams across time zones and collaborate on A/B testing, requirements definition, and cross-platform design initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Hands-on coding experience in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture, components, templates, and workflows
- Demonstrated knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
