Role overview
As a Business Strategy & Transformation Vice President within Global Real Estate, you will partner directly with the Global Real Estate Business and Management Team to shape and deliver the platform’s highest-priority strategic and operating initiatives. This role is built for someone who thrives in ambiguous problem spaces, can create an executive-grade fact base quickly, and can drive decisions and implementation across senior stakeholders.
You will own a portfolio of initiatives spanning strategy, operating model, process improvement, performance management, and change adoption—from hypothesis through execution.
What you’ll do
- Lead high-impact transformation initiatives end-to-end: define the problem statement, build the fact base, align stakeholders, set success metrics, and drive delivery against timelines and measurable outcomes.
- Structure and solve ambiguous business problems: develop hypotheses, prioritize analyses, synthesize insights, and translate them into clear recommendations and executable plans.
- Influence senior decision-making: craft compelling executive narratives, business cases, and recommendations; present to platform leadership with clarity and precision.
- Build business cases and quantify trade-offs: lead financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment to support investment and operating decisions.
- Drive cross-functional execution: coordinate work across investment teams and key partner functions (e.g., Product, Operations, Finance, Technology), proactively removing roadblocks and maintaining momentum.
- Establish performance management disciplines: define KPIs, dashboards, and governance cadences; monitor benefits realization and course-correct as needed.
- Enable leadership communications: prepare briefing materials and talking points for critical internal and external engagements, translating complex topics into crisp, stakeholder-ready messaging.
Who you are
Required
- 4–6 years in top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, or equivalent experience with ownership of workstreams and senior stakeholder management. Engagement Manager / Project Lead level experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to structure problems, build a defensible fact base, and deliver executive-ready storylines (PowerPoint) and analytical outputs (Excel).
- Strong business judgment with experience developing business cases (modeling, scenarios, risks, benefits).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver through influence (without direct authority).
Preferred
Experience in real assets / real estate, private markets, or asset management (investment platforms, fund structures, client/product considerations).
Advanced degree (MBA/Master’s) a plus.
What success looks like (first 6–12 months)
- Establish a clear view of the platform’s top strategic priorities and translate them into a sequenced roadmap with governance, milestones, and measurable KPIs.
- Deliver 2–4 material initiatives (e.g., operating model/process redesign, KPI/performance management, decision governance, technology-enabled improvements) with demonstrable impact and senior stakeholder buy-in.
- Become a trusted partner to leadership known for clarity, pace, and high-quality output.
