As a Finance Business Manager supporting the Credit Trading & Syndicate team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing business performance and supporting strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and helping to identify and mitigate risks. You will have the opportunity to drive projects that matter, collaborate with colleagues across regions, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Drive key business initiatives and support strategic projects across the Global Credit Trading & Syndicate Businesses.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and compelling way using advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
- Develop wireframes and mock-ups for management presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Communicate effectively with business partners to understand project requirements and drive next steps.
- Manage and deliver key work streams and tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives, seeking opportunities to simplify and improve business processes.
Represent the business in respective internal/external working groups
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field
Proven ability to deliver high-quality presentations and reports for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to design excellence.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple stakeholder groups and driving business agendas.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Pivot Tables.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
- Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
Previous experience in Business Management or COO role and Credit Markets product knowledge a plus
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx) or basic coding (e.g. Python) and/or knowledge of Gen AI is a plus
