As an Experience Design Associate within the Employee Experience Design team, you will support the creation of AI-driven, adaptive user experiences that respond to user intent and evolving needs across self-service journeys. Leveraging your foundational knowledge of experience design principles, interaction design, and research practices, you will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional partners to deliver clear, scalable, and user-centered solutions.
Your work will focus on small- to mid-sized features, contributing to the development of a growing agentic design system and helping define how systems respond across varied user inputs and scenarios. As a core contributor, you will translate user needs and business goals into effective product experiences, while continuing to build your craft in a dynamic, AI-driven environment. At the Associate level, you are expected to demonstrate proficiency in core design skills, contribute to team execution, and support the evolution of adaptive, conversational, and UI-based interaction patterns that drive consistent and intuitive employee experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and delivery of user experiences for small- to mid-sized features, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and design standards.
- Assist in response mapping to define system behavior across different user inputs, journeys, and interaction scenarios.
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces that support intuitive and scalable self-service experiences.
- Apply interaction and visual design principles to create consistent, usable, and engaging solutions across adaptive and conversational interfaces.
- Operate with an iterative design mindset, incorporating feedback, research insights, and usability testing to continuously improve experiences.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research partners to ensure design solutions are feasible, aligned, and effectively implemented.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of an agentic design system, including reusable components, patterns, and interaction models.
- Incorporate accessibility and inclusive design best practices into all work to support a diverse range of users.
- Utilize data, research, and user feedback to inform decisions and refine design outcomes.
- Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 2 years of professional experience or equivalent expertise in experience design or a related UX discipline within the digital product space.
- Portfolio of design work demonstrating your strategic thinking, process, and high craft design deliverables.
- Experience in visual design (UI) and interaction design (UX), with a focus on creating highly crafted and functional digital experiences.
- Proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping to effectively communicate and refine designs.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, inclusive design practices, and assistive technologies to ensure a diverse and inclusive user experience.
- Previous exposure to industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
