laborer/Equipment Operator
We are looking for a reliable Laborer/ equipment operator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of underground utilities
- Proficient in the operation all types of construction equipment (ie. Excavators, Dozer, compact track loaders, etc.)
- Rough grading and finish grading
- Erosion and sediment control
- Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards
- Construction of cast in place light pole foundations
- Interpreting construction drawings
- Keep time and material records
- Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading;
- Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
- Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor
- Material handling
- Teamwork

Requirements:
- Previous equipment operation experience required
- Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and excavators, strongly preferred
- Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned
- Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to hand dig
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
- Experience in the commercial site work, trenching, conduit installation, excavation, landscape, hardscape,
- Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
