What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Production position at JPK Corporation?
Support the Warehouse team with both Production, and Roasting work.
Duties:
Production
- Work under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor
- Label, date, and fill 12 oz & 5lb bags, and 5 lb & 10 lb bins in quantities from forecasting documents
- Pull and pack all online, orders, in time for USPS pick up
- Pull and pack & palletize any Ladro store, and wholesale orders for the following day’s delivery
- Become familiar with Warehouse Daily Task lists to help anticipate needs for the coming days
- Maintain organic, production, use and waste tracking paperwork
- Operate support delivery route as needed
Roasting
- Work under the direction of the Head Roaster
- Compile daily roast plan, based on invoiced orders, pars, and coffee on the floor
- Roast coffee for desired flavor profiles using pars and orders as guide
- Follow protocols for Roast Log software platform, to track all roast data
- Maintain organic, use and waste tracking paperwork
- Offer additional support to Production as needed
Financial Expectations:
- Use company resources responsibly
- Manage both green and roasted coffee inventory with great care
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail to minimize errors in order packaging and roasting
General Expectations:
- Work with staff in a positive, respectful and friendly manner
- Communicate with any customers in a positive manner that well represents Caffe Ladro
- Willingness to work as a team member to support the wholesale and retail departments
- Follow all state and federal laws

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year coffee experience, with passion for the industry
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate basic math skills
- Ability to perform duties that include standing for long periods of time, using manual dexterity and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work 35 – 45 hours a week
- Flexibility to sub in for production, roasting and delivery as needed
- Ability to have fun and handle stress in a fast-paced production environment
- Clean driving record, and ability to drive a delivery vehicle
Salary : $18 - $20
