The Materials Lead will be responsible for daily monitoring of project Material Delivery and Labor Materials to ensure the project adheres to its established schedule and plan. The position will report to the Materials Manager.

About The Job.
The Materials Lead will be responsible for daily monitoring of project Material Delivery and Labor Materials to ensure the project adheres to its established schedule and plan. The position will report to the Materials Manager.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Responsible to Lead, track and coordinate project material and equipment procurement process
- Utilize Leadtime to coordinate material order, tracking, storage, and delivery.
- Ensure material deliveries adhere to OPC schedule requirements.
- Utilize OPC pull report on daily/weekly labor needs and coordinate work labor requirements to subcontractors at predetermined and effective intervals, to ensure arrival and work start prior to 8am. Track communications.
- Coordinate with field team on daily labor by 9am daily and follow up with any nonperforming subcontractors to ensure completion of daily activities.
- Works with OSC Commercial Lead to receive subcontractor compliance insurance reports. Ensure subcontractors are enrolled in insurance before commencing work on-site.
- Communicate any actual wet weather delays or available work areas to subcontractors to minimize full site shut down days.
- Monitors temp labor usage budget and issue needed for and coordinated elimination of the need for temp laborers
- Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles
- 5 day (Monday-Friday) Physical Co-location
- Daily Collaboration
- Thorough knowledge of daily on-site activities
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5 years' experience in a business or professional setting (inclusive of non-profit or government roles).
- Proven experience in an executive support role or similar position.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project management applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
