What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roll Off Driver position at JPD Environmental & Demolition, Inc.?
MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRUCK
Roll Off driver are responsible for preparing, securing and transporting of open top and compactor containers to various disposal site which include landfills, transfer facilities and various customer jobsite locations.
Drivers will need to navigate driveways, alleys, jobsites and traffic filled roadways. This may also entail operating in tight environments, backing up long distances such as private driveways as well as heavy industrial and crowded city environments.
A license to carry hazardous waste is a plus but not required.
Must have Class B license (CDL) and experience is required. DOT drug screen, Physical and or medical card.
Operate vehicle in all safety rules accordance with OSHA, DOT, as well as all local, municipal, state and federal laws.
Report any unsafe situations or service related issues, any accidents, incidents, injuries, property damages, service problems, blocked containers or any potential safety hazard to dispatch.
Our work hours are 8 am-5 pm , Monday-Friday, weekends as needed. Weekly Pay
Must be able to take direction and also make decisions alone. Perform pre-trip inspections
List previous relevant experience as a driver
