This is a full-time, on-site role for a Private Equity Analyst located in Hanover, MD. The Private Equity Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, evaluating investment opportunities, performing market research, and participating in due diligence processes for potential investments. Additional responsibilities include analyzing portfolio performance, preparing financial reports, and working closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making. The Analyst will also assist in managing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities for investments.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and data analysis skills
- Experience in market research and due diligence
- Knowledge of private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in financial and statistical software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
- Previous experience or internship in private equity, investment banking, or a related financial field is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
