Key Responsibilities
Review and clarify work orders with service advisors
Inspect trucks and trailers to diagnose mechanical and electronic issues
Document diagnostic findings, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendations
Estimate labor time and parts needed for repairs
Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty truck systems
Install and service components, equipment, and systems
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Qualifications
3–5 years of heavy-duty truck repair experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and electronic diagnostics
Proficient in:
Complete brake services
Steering and suspension repair
Wheel bearings and king pin replacement
Shocks and struts
Experience using shop equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and A/C equipment
Valid driver’s license required
Federal DOT, State, and Safety license (or willingness to obtain)
Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
