Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations following strict safety protocols and local electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components to support industrial operations.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and renovations on existing electrical infrastructure in construction sites or facilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and inspection reports.
- Adhere to electrical safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site.

- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and safety procedures.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic meters (including ohmmeters), and other testing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems quickly and effectively using diagnostic techniques.
- Experience working with high-voltage wiring systems safely in industrial or construction environments.
