Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and confections with attention to detail and artistic flair
- Decorate cakes and desserts using piping, fondant, icing, and other techniques to create visually appealing products
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols
- Package finished products efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, portioning, and garnishing to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items based on customer feedback
Experience
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a commercial food environment
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices
- Prior experience working in a bakery, restaurant kitchen, catering service or similar food industry setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of culinary tools such as knives and piping equipment along with proficiency in baking methods
- Familiarity with packaging processes for retail or catering purposes is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
