As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Pilot to join our team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and reliable Drone Pilot to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and capture aerial footage for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a certified FAA Part 107 pilot and have a strong background portfolio. This role will involve flying drones to capture aerial shots, collaborating with our marketing team to achieve creative objectives, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position is a freelance postion, in which you will be dispatch to a shoot with a plan and a deadline to be met. This is a freelance/contract position, in which work is dependent on company needs and not guaranteed constantly.

Responsibilities:

• Operate drones to capture high-quality aerial footage and photography for various projects, including films, commercials, real estate, events, and more.
• Plan and execute flight missions to achieve desired shots, considering factors such as weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and perform routine maintenance on drones and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to drone operation and aerial photography/videography.
• Maintain accurate records of flight logs, equipment maintenance, and other relevant documentation.
• Uphold safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) for drone operation.
• Proven experience as a Drone Pilot, with a strong portfolio showcasing aerial photography/videography work.
• Proficiency in operating drones and related equipment, with a solid understanding of flight dynamics, navigation, and camera controls.
• Own and posses a DJI Mini 2 or better drone for work.
• Own and posses a FAA registered drone.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety guidelines governing drone operation.
• Flexibility to work in short notice and to meet short deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with post-production software for editing and enhancing aerial footage (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop).
• Additional certifications or training in cinematography, photography, or related fields.
• Experience with specialized drones and camera equipment, such as DJI, Freefly Systems, or similar brands.
