JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Stock Clerk to support Picatinny Arsenal, LRC Maintenance, Supply, and Transportation services that support the installation’s mission.
Salary: $ 25.47 per hour
Start Date: August 30, 2026
Place of Performance: Picatinny, NJ
Hours of Operation : The core hours for the LRC are 0700-1530 Monday-Friday/ except federal holidays. May be required to work outside of core hours as required.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Stock Clerk performs supply, inventory, and warehouse support functions in support of a federal government contract. The position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, federal regulations, and safety standards. Receive, inspect, and store supplies, materials, and equipment. Issue and distribute stock items in accordance with approved requests. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock location data. Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies. Label, package, and prepare materials for storage or shipment. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Use automated inventory or supply systems to update records. Comply with federal, DoD (if applicable), and contract supply procedures. Support audits, inspections, and inventory reviews. Follow safety, security, and property accountability requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic inventory and stock control procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and store materials as required. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience in stock, warehouse, or inventory operations preferred. Experience supporting government or federal contracts is a plus.
Education :
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a citizen of the U.S.
- Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
- Possess a valid driver’s license. Team player, coach, teach, and mentor.
