Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to keep landscapes healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for landscaping projects
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
- Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, installing features, and performing general maintenance
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is highly preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lawn care equipment and power tools
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, tree trimming, and hardscape installation
- Hands-on experience with excavation machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Strong understanding of plant care, irrigation systems, and seasonal maintenance routines
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of snow plowing operations during winter seasons
