Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards in restaurant and food truck
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales in restaurant and food truck
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food handling areas meet sanitation requirements in restaurant and food truck
- Assist with food safety protocols including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support team members during busy periods by managing quick service tasks and ensuring smooth operations
- Handle cashing out customers accurately and managing basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm, dependability and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
