What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Dockworker position at JP Express Service Inc?
Essential Job Functions
- Loading/unloading commercial trailers of all sizes and straight trucks by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks & forklifts
- Willingness to obtain certification for safely operations of a forklift and other equipment. JP will provide training.
- Verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assignedQualifications:
- Must have forklift experience
