We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental care team. Schedule (PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME)
MONDAY-THURSDAY: FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE (1-4 DAYS)
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to prevent dental disease.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to maintain long-term oral health.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment areas and managing dental instruments efficiently.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Review patient medical histories and update records accurately to support personalized treatment plans.
- Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions regarding oral health maintenance.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve patient experience and promote a positive, professional atmosphere.
Skills
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Proficiency in dental radiography, periodontal assessment, and prophylaxis procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of current best practices in oral health prevention and patient education strategies.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
