Overview:
The Style Consultant will serve as a passionate brand ambassador, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable, personalized experiences that embody the Boden values. Build lasting customer relationships and drive sales through elevated, customer-centric interactions.
What You Will Do
- Champion a customer-first mindset by ensuring every customer interaction reflects Boden’s culture, values, and service excellence
- Create memorable shopping experiences through personalized service and a deep understanding of customer needs
- Build and nurture customer relationships through consistent follow-up and thoughtful correspondence that drives loyalty and sales
- Utilize technology and virtual selling tools to connect with clients and showcase the full breadth of Boden products
- Stay informed and inspired by developing strong product knowledge and keeping up with fashion trends and industry insights
- Be a knowledgeable ambassador of the Boden brand – share the Boden story, values and product details with confidence and authenticity
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance, behavior, and performance that aligns with Boden’s values and heritage
- Support company initiatives related to product launches, customer experience and sales strategies
- Ensure a welcoming store environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards
- Assist with stock tasks, including receiving deliveries, processing inventory, restocking the sales floor and maintaining back-of-house organization
- Assist with other related duties as requested
What We Are Looking For
- At least 18 years of age or older
- 2 - 4 years' customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to operate POS system and handle various payment methods
- Ability to work in a goal-driven retail environment with frequent customer interaction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively multitask in retail environment
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive energy and strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching and other physical movements required for stocking, organizing and visual merchandising
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to hang and fold garments, attach tags, an operate POS system, as well as perform other tasks requiring fine motor skills and attention to detail
