Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, individuals with behaviors, autism, and other disability disorders.
We are hiring for Full Time and Part time positions.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals
- Help individuals with mobility needs including lifting and transferring when needed
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as needed
Experience
- Experience in working with individuals with behavioral health, individuals with autism, and other developmental disabilities.
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathy-based care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Previous experience as a DSP would be preferred but not recommended.
Requirements:
MUST BE MED CERTIFIED!!!
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 point driving violations
Must be 18 years
High School Diploma
Must pass a background check
CPR/First Aid certified
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
