DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
- CDL A: 5years or more
- CDL B: 5 years or more
- Clean driving record; no DUI or DWI
- Vehicle accident commercial or personal must be 7 years or older
- Clean background
- Experience driving and maintaining single axle, tri-axle or multi axle dump trucks
- Must be able to successfully operate a manual or automatic transmission
- Must provide job references
- Must have transportation and live no more than 30 minutes from Waldorf, Maryland
- Must have valid License
- Must have valid Social Security ID
- Must be over 25 years
- Must be dependable
- Experience operating construction equipment a plus
- Experienced mechanic a plus
- Must present professionalism at all times
- Must wear PPE on all sites
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in english; bilingual a plus
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Load and unload materials using a forklift or other heavy equipment as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient operation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members regarding job status and any issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a dump truck or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Familiarity with flatbed and forklift operation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
