Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various homecarecare settings. Candidates with diverse clinical backgrounds such as Geriatrics, Medical-surgical, PICU, OR experience, and outpatient clinics are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medication reminders or assistance as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status or behavior to supervising healthcare providers
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or concerns
- Follow established care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for ongoing treatment plans or emergency interventions when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in Level I Trauma Centers, Level II Trauma Centers, or teaching hospitals is highly valued
- Background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings such as Geriatrics or Medical-surgical units is preferred
- Experience working in inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care environments will be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a home setting while maintaining professional standards
- Knowledge of trauma response protocols or critical care procedures is advantageous but not required
- Previous caregiving experience involving PICU or OR environments is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward patient-centered care
