Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with complex medical needs, and possess a strong commitment to improving quality of life through attentive and respectful caregiving. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and support adherence to care plans
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable
- Experience working in specialized areas such as PICU, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, Post-acute care, Outpatient clinics, or Sub-acute care settings is preferred
- Teaching hospital experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of inpatient and outpatient care environments
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various client needs
- Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation purposes
