Small, family-run pediatric office looking for a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service, and a desire to learn are needed characteristics.
Qualified candidates must love and be comfortable interacting with babies, kids, teenagers and young adults! At times you may be required to hold or play with babies and children (really more of a job perk)! Therefore energy, patience and positivity are must-have qualities.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will help our front desk function efficiently on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks:
- Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
- Prepare patient charts and needed paperwork with care and accuracy
- Answer phone calls, take & relay messages
- Accurately verify health insurances in detail
- Proficient in computer skills and utilizing EMR systems
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone and email
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, faxing and photocopying
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Adhere to HIPAA
Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical field or schooling *REQUIRED*
- Detail oriented *REQUIRED*
- Enjoys being around children and teenagers
- Professional, dependable and flexible
- Positive bedside manner
- Able to work in a team environment and independently
- Takes initiative and is proactive to use time efficiently
