Duties

- Collaborate closely with families, therapists, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet each child's unique developmental needs.
- Provide direct instruction in literacy, math, communication skills, and social-emotional learning to students with diverse abilities.
- Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental milestones and implementing targeted strategies for children with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for IEP meetings in compliance with special education law.
- Mentor assistant teachers and student interns, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
Skills
