Joyful Learning is a growing after-school learning center in Charlotte, NC. We are dedicated to empowering students through engaging lessons, building character, and helping every child discover the joy of learning.
Position Overview
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic teachers for Kindergarten through 3rd grade. The most important quality is a genuine love for children and a passion for teaching. All class materials are prepared in advance, so teachers can focus on connecting with students and guiding their learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach Phonics to support early reading and literacy skills.
- Support students in basic reading and writing to build strong language foundations.
- Teach basic math (addition and subtraction) to strengthen core skills.
- Lead fun math games to help students enjoy learning.
- Create a safe, positive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate with parents and staff about student progress.
- Work as part of a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but we also welcome new teachers who love working with children.
- Responsible, caring, and enthusiastic.
